The rope ladder of a boat hangs over the side of the boat and just reaches the water.  Its rungs are 20 cm apart.  How many rungs will be under the water when the tide rises 1metre?

Answer:   None.  When the tide rises, so will the boat.  Therefore if the ladder was just touching the water before the tide rise, then no matter how high it rises, the ladder will only just touch the boat.  Now if the ladder was attached to something that didn't float then the answer would be different!

I have a 5 scoop ice cream cone. Each of my 5 scoops is a different flavour of ice cream.

The five flavours are blueberry, chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and bubble gum.

You don't know what order my ice cream flavours are from top to bottom.

However, here are some clues to see if you can figure out what flavours are from top to bottom:

1. The bottom flavour has 10 letters.
2. The vanilla scoop touches both the chocolate and blueberry scoop.
3. Vanilla is below the chocolate scoop but above the bubblegum scoop.

Answer:  The order from top to bottom is:  Chocolate, Vanilla, Blueberry, Bubblegum and Strawberry

A person has to choose his punishment for tipping the Rabbitohs last week. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of angry people with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for them?

Answer:  The room of lions.  If they have not eaten for 3 years then they will not be alive!
